To reflect Cupid's direct orders declaring February as a month of LOVE! We turned the tables to focus on receiving 'Self-Love' and not the default of giving it out that is often encouraged by Valentine marketing. Befittingly so: gracing the cover of this issue was yours truly, moi [Jennifer Nash] as Editor-In-Chief, I was also born on Feb 16! Naturally as a Change Advocate and Social Justice Activist, I shared my thoughts on DE&! trends - that should be rather be our way of life already by now!
